Each and every phase of construction and planning of Villa Haruku will be executed in strict accordance with Balinese tradition and culture. 

Therefor we participated in the ground breaking ceremony provided by the landowners family. This experience was really beautiful. We already connected really good with the family when we met them for the first time back in March 2022 but this brought us even closer.  Together with the local priest they set up the whole ceremony and we imitated everybody to try to fit in and be respectful during the ceremony. And 2 minutes before the end it started to rain like crazy. But the priest said this is a really good sign from the gods. so completely soaked we all had a coconut to celebrate in the farmers shed next to our land.
